The Year 9 English Assessment will take place in the Sports Hall - Monday 9th December - Lesson 4
Your examination will last for 1 hour
The Year 9 English assessment will be based on the Gothic Literature unit of work covered over the last term

There is a total of 50 marks available, with the assessment divided into the following sections:
Section A - Vocabulary - 5 marks
Section B - Knowledge - 10 marks
Section C - Reading and construction of an analytical essay - 20 marks
Section D - Punctuation - 5 marks
Section E - Writing - 10 marks
