Year 9 Revision
The Year 9 English Assessment will take place on Friday 26th January (Lesson 2)
Your examination will last for 1 hour
The year 9 English assessment will be based on 'Noughts and Crosses' which is the current scheme of work that you are studying.
There will also be some elements of the Dystopian scheme of work that you studied last unit.
Year 9 English Assessent 2024
There is a total of 50 marks available, with the assessment divided into the following sections:
Reading, comprehension and analytical essay skills - 10 marks
Knowledge - 20 marks
Vocabulary - 5 marks
Punctuation - 5 marks
Transactional writing - 10 marks
